This page explains how to request deletion of personal data held by Paperkappal Technologies for ChatSevai, including data received through the WhatsApp Business Platform.
1. How to request deletion
Send us a request using any one of these options:
- Email support@chatsevai.com with the subject “Data deletion request”.
- Send “DELETE MY DATA” on WhatsApp to +91 88384 79068.
- If you chatted with an eSevai Centre, you can also ask that Centre directly. They will pass the request to us.
Please include the mobile number you used, so we can find your records.
2. What happens next
- We confirm your request within 2 working days, and may ask you to verify that the number belongs to you.
- We delete your messages, form details and uploaded documents from ChatSevai within 30 days.
- We send you a confirmation once the deletion is complete.
3. What we may keep
We may keep limited records where the law requires it, such as invoices and tax records of Centres, or records needed for an ongoing legal matter. These are kept securely and deleted when no longer required.
4. Centre accounts
If you are a Centre owner and want to close your account, contact us. We export your data on request and then delete it within 30 days of closure, except records we must keep by law.
